La Loggia Del Chianti

We didn’t expect the fine dining touch to the food we received when we selected this spot on the map. The thought in curating the experience is evident from the moment you enter the board walk to the restaurant. This family run restaurant has been taken over by their son, Simone, the chef, who chose fresh ingredients from their garden to make our food and also explained where the various foods were brought from. The passion is palpable.

Absolutely fabulous; food, service, ambience. The touch of Mr Michele is the icing on the cake. Quality and style, a great dining experience. Octopus starter is a dish that will stay with me for a long time. Grazie Sig.Michele per I liquori al cedro, mandarino e melograno!

Outstanding food and a very friendly, welcoming team. The truffle egg starter was incredible and delicately presented. The Florentine steak was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Very reasonably priced local wines on offer. Thanks to the team for a great lunch!

Our hotel turned us onto this restaurant off of the main stretch in Radda. We went in with low expectations and it was one of the best meals we have had in Italy! The small team makes the large space feel so intimate. The host/owner did not speak too much English yet we were able to converse enough for us to joke with. The waitress was beyond knowledgeable of every ingredient and process of each plate. And the head chef served some of our dishes and described everything in great detail - you could tell he was proud of his food as he should be! The food is all from the region, made in house, and a perfect blend of classic cuisine with the slightest creative flares. My fiance and I each got a pasta (Aglio e olio was unique!), then we shared the beef filet which was the best single bight I have eaten this year. Dessert was totally worth it. And the wines spoke for themselves. Very highly recommend this place. Super low key and especially going in with low expectations this restaurant was a gem!

Amazing family run restaurant. Honestly one of the best experiences I have had and I love eating out. The steak was melt in your mouth and the local wine was outstanding. Unbelievable value. If you love food you need to visit.

We have been to La Loggia del Chianti several times and it is always a true delight. From the warm atmosphere to the lovely family who runs it and the amazing chef. The food is a symphony of the senses: very artistically and uniquely presented and genuine. We cannot recommend it enough. If you're looking for something original and special, you'll find it. Thanks to the fantastic staff and the chef, you really rock!!! P.s.
